CAMPING: Indian Head Campground
Our plans are to again camp at Indian Head Campground which is located within a mile of the
event, just a short ride across the covered bridge and were in the parking lot.
Last year the club reserved 11 sites in the " i " Section. We had 5 people back out due to
finances and family emergencies the plan this year is to have money in earlier as to avoid
money issues. The campground held our sites for us for 3 weeks without payment due to us not
having any issues the previous year, we are in good standings and they are happy to have us
again in 2009
These sites are camping and were only allowed one vehicle per site so we will have to
coordinate carpooling and with the price of gas i believe this is for the best.
Payment: Please have your money into the treasurer as soon as practical. The price is $35 per
person for 2nights camping. (plus 15 dollars for advanced admission into the event. So $30 for
2 days admission)
Directions: Take 88 to 81 and stay on that for more than 80 miles until you see signs for 80
Merge onto I-81 S.
Merge onto I-80 W via EXIT 151B toward BLOOMSBURG. 27.4 mi
Take the PA-42 S/ PA-44 N exit, EXIT 232, toward BUCKHORN/ BLOOMSBURG. 0.5
Turn LEFT onto PA-42 S/ MALL BLVD. 2.0 mi
Merge onto US-11 S/ PA-42 S toward CATAWISSA/ DANVILLE. 0.4 mi
Merge onto PA-42 S toward CATAWISSA. 0.9 mi
Turn LEFT onto TRAIN ST. 0.1 mi
TRAIN ST becomes READING ST. 0.3 mi
End at 340 Reading St Bloomsburg, PA 17815-9625
Getting into the campground may be complicated you have to have a wrist band to get in,
